The Arch Mission Foundation began this journey in 2018 when a Tesla was launched into space. Inside the glove compartment of the car was an incredibly durable disk that could act as a unique digital library of humankind’s knowledge up until that point in time. Since then, the non-profit foundation has worked on multiple missions to send these disks into the universe in hopes of preserving our discoveries and advancements.

If the disks are successful in their purpose, magic will never go away and could reach places we never could dream about. We can never guarantee where any of this information can end up, and in all honesty, it might end up going to waste with no one ever discovering it. However, it’s just a little more interesting to delve into hypothetical scenarios about what the future could hold.

If humankind effectively wiped itself out and then rebuilt society from the bottom up, the discovery of this disk could lead to the first magician in the new world and spur a whole renaissance of magic.
